Ponderosa Porter Ale - 2-Gallon Kit
Our Ponderosa Porter is a brown porter. The Porter beer style was developed in London in the early 18th century. Three versions of the style are recognized today with the Brown having the lighter flavor profile. This beer has a deep brown to almost black color, but with medium body and moderate to low hop bitterness and flavor.
Our convenient 2-Gallon Ingredient kits allow you to make great home brewed beer without taking over your house and kitchen with large brewing equipment. This kit makes almost a case of beer. To make it, you'll need an 8-quart or larger pot, the equipment included in our 2-Gallon Beer Making Starter Kit and a case of empty beer bottles (rinsed and sanitized empties from your favorite brewery work great!). A good kitchen scale helps too.
